Classic Mignonette Sauce

Makes ¼ cup, enough sauce for a dozen oysters. Nightshade, dairy and gluten free.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced shallot
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch of Kosher salt
  • 12 large oysters, freshly shucked

Preparation

  1. Stir vinegar, shallot, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes. Drizzle over oysters.
