Flower Salad

I first discovered edible flowers in Hawaii.  I submit that nothing turns a plain salad into an event like flower petals.  This is less a recipe and more of a concept.  Any mix of green and anything from the list below.  I love a light lemon vinaigrette,  poppy seed or raspberry dressing.

Edible Flowers:

  • Calendula
  • Hibiscus
  • Lavender
  • Pansies
  • Roses
  • Violets
  • Yucca Blooms
  • Sage Blossoms
  • Basil Blossoms
  • Chive Blossoms
  • Zucchini Blossom
