Sesame Smoked Salmon

Gluten, dairy and nightshade free

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 4 ounces sliced smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons very finely chopped shallot
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons very finely chopped chives, plus a few snipped, for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon of green onion
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of sushi wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seed oil
  • 1/2  teaspoon of olive oil
  • Fresh dill
  • 1/2 cup crème fraîche
  • Sliced toast rounds

Combine all ingredients except cream and bread.  Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour.  Serve on toast rounds.  Top with cream and a dill sprig.

Tip: you may need to add an additional drizzle of oil to ensure that the salmon appears glossy
