Sesame Smoked Salmon
Gluten, dairy and nightshade free
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 4 ounces sliced smoked salmon, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons very finely chopped shallot
- 1 1/2 teaspoons very finely chopped chives, plus a few snipped, for garnish
- 1 teaspoon of green onion
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon Freshly ground white pepper
- 1 teaspoon of sushi wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seed oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
- Fresh dill
- 1/2 cup crème fraîche
- Sliced toast rounds
Combine all ingredients except cream and bread. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve on toast rounds. Top with cream and a dill sprig.
Tip: you may need to add an additional drizzle of oil to ensure that the salmon appears glossy
