Yummy, crispy, naughty fried green beans! There are so many thing I miss about gluten. One is crispy fried stuff (Southern girl here). Enjoy this beer batter recipe good for nearly any vegetable. Serve with a little horseradish mayo. Don’t don’t let it get good to you!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup GF beer
3/4 cup GF baking mix
1/4 cup of cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 teaspoons salt,
10 cracks black pepper
1/8 tsp white pepper
1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
Peanut oil, for frying
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Combine the first 7 ingredients to make the batter
- Dredge green beans
- Fry in peanut oil until golden
- Serve with ranch or Horseradish Mayo
