INGREDIENTS:
1 thumb of fresh ginger, sliced
12 whole cloves
6 whole allspice berries
8 cups (1/2 gallon) of apple cider
2 cups of cranberry juice
2 cups orange juice
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 medium orange, sliced
1 medium tart apple, sliced
1 medium lemon, sliced
4 cinnamon sticks
1/4 cup of cranberries
Optional
brandy, or spiced rum
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a crock pot, cover and let simmer on low for a minimum of 3-4 hours before serving. Garnish with cranberries and citrus peel. Add water as needed.
